"It sticks going in and out of the scabbard. I discovered there is a right-side-up way to put it in the scabbard. Both the scabbard and the sword are slightly curved; the scabbard only curved on the inside. If you look at the tip of the scabbard, you can see which direction it is curved in. Also, it is brand new, so oil with machine oil it moderately & rub the oil in with a paper towel. Slide the sword in and out of the scabbard repeatedly over time so as to break it in. It's nice."
