The 1942 U.S. Combat Sword is a meticulously crafted tribute to WWII, featuring a sharp and clean blade, a balanced feel with its stacked leather handle, and a historically faithful design. However, some customers have reported issues with the sheath's durability.

"Good sword"
"The sword is nice, but I personally am nit a fan of the handle material. Other than that top notch. The matrrual feels like a plasticy faux leather. Like I said my personal preference would be for a different material. I am going to try the paracord handle next and see if that feels bettrt."
"I have guns and knifes but now I have a sword! It has a good heavy thick blade so I know it won't bend or break."
"I really enjoy the item! It's a great wallhanger and I could probably defend my home against the average crackhead/junkie burglar, but I doubt I'm ever going to be attacked in my home by mercenary ninjas, but I might be able to get one or two before I needed to use my ninpo. . ."
"I love this machete, short sword . It matches the marine sheath knife perfectly ."
"It goes great with the rest of my 1942 US Combat."
"Very nice"
"I thwapped the sword against a sturdy object multiple times to ensure it was solid and everything held up wonderfully. No wobbling of the blade in the hilt. No visible damage to the blade. It arrived sturdy, balanced, and sharp (enough)."
"Our Veterans love it and we use them for cake cutting ceremonies"
"Definite cool factor. For a repro it's damn nice. Me happy -"
