Undeniably modern stiletto knife licensed by USMCRazor sharp 4" 420 stainless steel spear point bladeWicked fast, smooth assisted opening mechanismNonreflective black coating with "Marines" etchingTough aluminum alloy handle with diamond texturePocket clip, liner lock, flipper, glass breakerClosed length: 5 1/4"
An undeniably modern take on a classic folding knife design, the officially licensed USMC "Blackout" Combat Stiletto combines all the wicked ferocity of the iconic stiletto with contemporary tactical appointments and styling. Its potent 4" 420 stainless steel blade features the sleek spear point profile that old-school stiletto fans know and love and adds a distinctive blood groove and bold non-reflective black coating. Beautifully offsetting the blade's matte black finish, the famous USMC seal is carefully laser etched in white next to the razor sharp edge, flanked by the branch's illustrious, well-earned slogan - "Marines: The Few. The Proud." The blade deploys with incredible speed, thanks to the Blackout Stiletto's silky smooth assisted opening mechanism - easily triggered with the handy flipper. Cast from an advanced aluminum alloy, the Blackout Stiletto's handle is encircled by five green bands - an aesthetic nod to the legendary, historic USMC combat fighter knife's emblematic stacked leather handle. Engineered to satisfy the unique tactical demands and survival challenges of the modern era, the handle is extraordinarily durable yet lightweight, boasting an elegant diamond gun stock texture that virtually eliminates slippage, even in wet, muddy environments and other harsh conditions. "USMC" is laser etched at the handle's center, reminding all who see it that the Blackout Combat Stiletto is built "Marine tough." Set at the base of the handle is a convenient steel glass breaker - another contemporary feature that's perfect for escaping (or assisting others in escaping) entrapment in a wrecked vehicle or burning building, where glass windows may be the only means of exit. Add the built-in steel pocket clip, and you've got an outstanding assisted opening folder that honors traditional wisdom, while taking full advantage of the latest and greatest innovations. And since it's officially licensed by the United States Marine Corps, you can rest assured the USMC Blackout Combat Stiletto is in it for the long haul - an everyday pocket knife you can rely on, come what may, just like a US Marine.

I bought this just to see if I liked it. The first one came in and I loved however after the first use it would close. Called customer service and they sent another out no questions asked.
Highly recommended for stilletto enthusiasts. No problems with mine. Opened smoothly and came very sharp.
Just go mine looks great but,its a little stiff maybe it will loosen up after a while, also the glass break is just screwed on I was able to loosen it up with out any resistance, you'd think it would have at least some locktigh or something kinda disappointing.
Out of the box my knife had a Super Fast assist open and a razor sharp blade! Prior reviewer may have gotten a defective piece. Love mine so far and feels well balanced in my hand.
extremly stiff and not at all quick, not worth the monry for edc knifw
