Beautiful mechanics - smooth, single press opening
"This knife has wonderful mechanics - the top knife guard acts as a flipper tab, which flicks open the blade at a medium press and then the blade locks open with no possibility of collapsing back without laterally depressing the flat, spring steel lock. Mine got stuck shut due to having been jammed by a heavy cast iron block sliding into it. I was able to disassemble the handle, which is held together with small hex head bolts, then upon realigning the wire spring and reassembling, it was back to fully functioning shape. So it’s also serviceable!"
