I used to come to BudK for fantasy knockoffs and the occasional reasonable quality, reasonable price. When this knife arrived, I found myself looking at *exceptional* quality, worth so much more than the price that I gave the first one to my American Legion post and am ordering another one for me. The guy who won the raffle at the Post is even happier than I am.

I have a thing for leather handled knives. I love this one. Great add to my collection. Not sure what I will use it for since it is so big but I think it is ready for about anything. Sharp out of the box. I dressed the edge a little. I am extremely happy with purchase.

I really like the knife, but not the "Made in China" laser engraved on the ricasso. Luckily, it is not very deep, so it came right off with my buffing wheel and a little semichrome polish. There were a few small tool marks which I buffed out at the same time. There is nothing wrong with the sheath, it's made of very thick, heavy duty black leather, but I may make my own with a mountain man/native American look.

Well let me tell you, I am a former Marine, and thought this knife would be great for my collection. It did look good when I first unpacked it but after I inspected it a little closer I find the USMC stamp on the blade was blurred. Looked like it was run through the press to fast being “mass produced” no quality assurance. The tip of blade was bent as if were doped before it was packed for shipping. And it was made in China. It's not worth the trouble to return it. Very disappointed!

Putting U.S.M.C. on something made in China is risky to say the least, but when I opened up the box it indeed made the name Marine. As a former Marine I am proud to be the owner of this knife. Sharp from the get go and well made, I give it 5 stars and fast shipping as well. (Every Marine needs one)

This knife arrived right on time and is everything promised...beautiful. Only had to shine the brass and it's an eye popper. I collect bowie knives and Budk hasn't let me down yet.

This Bowie is made to use but it's a nice looking one too with a nice leather sheath. Very well made, nice and rugged, will get the job done, will put the bad guys on the run.

I read the reviews before ordering the USMC Leatherneck Bowie Knife and also the photos and decided I wanted this knife. It looked like it had the quality and heft plus leather sheath I was looking for at an affordable price. I already have one Bowie but when I received it I was disappointed. It didn't come with the brass guard and bolster as advertised (stainless steel). This Bowie wasn't a disappointment. I am satisfied with what I received. I would recommend to a friend.

I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE KNIVES HAD IT TWO MO. TOOK IT TO A GUN SHOW, AND A GUY OFFERED ME $135.00 FOR IT. I SOLD IT. THIS KNIFE IS MADE VERY WELL MADE. WORTH EVERY PENNY! I AM BUYING ANOTHER ONE, KEEPIN IT TOO!

As a Marine this bowie just adds more pride to my collection. But if your a Marine or not you will be extra proud of this razor sharp good looking bowie.
