Nice knife

"I really like the knife, but not the "Made in China" laser engraved on the ricasso. Luckily, it is not very deep, so it came right off with my buffing wheel and a little semichrome polish. There were a few small tool marks which I buffed out at the same time. There is nothing wrong with the sheath, it's made of very thick, heavy duty black leather, but I may make my own with a mountain man/native American look."

"Well let me tell you, I am a former Marine, and thought this knife would be great for my collection. It did look good when I first unpacked it but after I inspected it a little closer I find the USMC stamp on the blade was blurred. Looked like it was run through the press to fast being “mass producedâ€ï¿½ no quality assurance. The tip of blade was bent as if were doped before it was packed for shipping. And it was made in China. It's not worth the trouble to return it. Very disappointed!"

"Putting U.S.M.C. on something made in China is risky to say the least, but when I opened up the box it indeed made the name Marine. As a former Marine I am proud to be the owner of this knife.
