Product Description
This Shikoto Gentleman's sword cane offers exquisite details of a truly custom sword cane. The 23" 1045 carbon steel blade was heat-forged to yield a razor sharp, double edged blade for a maximum cutting edge. The hardwood hook cane is wrapped in elegant leather which allows the blade to be wielded in comfort and style. A hidden blade-release mechanism ensures a speedy deployment of the blade in times it is needed. Please note: Due to recent manufacturing issues we do not recommend this cane be used for body support as the structure is not strong enough to withstand extreme force or weight.
The customer service rep assured me that I would have my cane by a specific date. when I called and asked if the cane had shipped I was informed by the same customer rep that they could not send it to me by the date mentioned. I can not tell you in words how Rude this A-hole was he began arguing with me when I told him I needed the cane by the date because I was having surgery on my knee he told me he didn't beleive I was having surgery. can you imagine the total disregaurd and disrespect this man had for a customer had.Warning do no business with these people!!!!!

SWORD CANE
I just received my GENTLEMAN'S SWORD CANE and so far so good. It appears to be well made. I hope the Chinese don’t let me down latter on. If they do, I will let everyone know about it. I have had sword canes before and know how to take care of the little rattle. (A cotton ball with a little 3 in 1 oil at the bottom takes care of that little problem).

Good blade, bad sheath and handle
I had bought this sword cane for aesthetic purposes and utilitarian purposes. As far as the aesthetics, it is a very handsome piece, especially because of the nice leather wrap. The blade I had chosen was the Damascus mainly because that was the one on sale at the time. Price-wise, it is very good. I had my doubts about buying one of the cheap quality $20-$40 sword canes that are everywhere on the Internet. You get what you pay for. Now the bad part. I agree with the first reviewer: the sheath is not as solidly built, you rattle when you walk, and the sheath just isn't very appealing with looks. I have had mine almost a month, I think, and with everyday use the scabbard has many dings and scrapes already. In the course of my daily use, the piece will inadvertently fall over or slide off of whatever solid thing I have leaned the piece on. The first time it fell over, the area below the handle and above the leather wrap developed a crack all the way around the circumference.

united forged sword cane
I bought this sword cane after reading that it was made much better than the less expensive ones. I love the blade of the sword cane it is well made and sharp and worth the money. The head and leather grip are also good. I really do not like the body of the sword cane though. It is very cheap and rattles when you walk with it. I was disappointed because why make such a nice sword but then finish it with bad materials. It is overall not terrible but I wish I had bought something else.
