Strong and long lasting
"We bought this machete 10 years ago and have put it through a lot of work. It's still holding its edge and nothing on the handle or guard has broken, so we decided to buy several more. Well made and great durability."

"Received as my Knife of the Month for October, and have to say I am quite pleased. Going to continue with the subscription for it is very well made and came sharp. Giving 4 Stars due to the imbalance as a whole. Yes the Kukri style has the thick head, but feel like the handle should have been made a little more weighty to compensate for this. All-in-all, this will be my camping machete from here on out."
"I've been an outdoorsman most of my life and a collector of "functional" blades (swords mostly), large and small, so you can understand my disdain for stainless steel blades of any kind. This Kukri by United Cutlery was purchased along with the United Cutlery matching Machete, from BUDK and has been attached to my body whenever I'm in the field. I have abused both of these blades, going thru the toughest of use, intentionally....just to see if I could prove them wrong. It's still after 3 years of harsh use, pretty much in the same condition as when it was purchased, except for sharpening. For me, when I want or need a tool that I know will do the job....there is no hesitation to reach for either of these blades. Just watch the short film BUDK made to show the blades capabilities....I did pretty much the same thing, and yes it's really that tough. You can break it if you try, but not generally thru even tough use. I am in no way connected to United Cutlery nor BUDK, and have recieved no compensation. This review was not solicited but was given in appreciation for an excellent and useful instrument at an unbelievable price. CW.."
"People talk about the blade getting lose after use. It has screws in handle that can be tightened (Phillips Head ) .Just pop out light colored buttons screws are under them a little lock tight will help . I have Two and Love them . Very good would recommend ."
"Have two bought them on BOGO deal .Very nice heavy blade cuts good .Saw not that great but that was just extra (It works just not very sharp ). Would recommend Very satisfied."
"This kukri style machete is amazing! It feels good in either hand. Mine came sharp enough to shave with. Cut several water jugs with it as well as 5 and 6 foot weeds in my back yard. If you are thinking about getting this, stop thinking. GET IT! I love this thing! Excellent buy. Thanks BudK!"
"Used this for light to medium brush. Only used it about four times. Cut well while it was whole but snapped in half cutting very small brush. Sadly the guarantee is only for 60 days."
"SORRY FOR THE CAPS LETTERS. THIS IS HOW MY PHONE TYPES IT OUT. I'M NOT YELLING. THAT BRING SAID, THE INFO ON THE DESCRIPTION IS CORRECT. I TOOK IT ON A TREE TRIM AND IT CUT LIKE A CHAMP. IT SEEMS TO BE DURABLE AND KEEPS A GOOD EDGE. ONLY THING IS THAT IT'S A LITTLE HEAVY."
"Pretty decent blade. Mine was dull as a stick of warm butter out of the box, but some time with a sharpener fixed that. Nylon around both the sheath snaps is starting to unravel. Took a few practice angled chops against a 4" log as a stress test, was not disappointed. I use it for most of my reasonable jobs, and don't leave for hiking without it. Now I consider it one of my valued "SHTF Kit" pieces. Would recommend to others."
"This is a great machete. It has amazing chopping power, I highly recommend it. The handle is comfortable and protects your hand. The sheath is kind of cheap, but oh well. My only compliant is the saw back, the teeth are staggered or very sharp, so it's pretty much useless as a saw."
