"Great cane !"

Light weight well-constructed cane.

"A perfect cane for those of us who are 5 foot something tall and has a workable foot for indoor use."

Excellent Cane

"The cane is extremely sturdy but not too heavy. I have several other canes from other manufacturers that while sturdy do have some flex. That is not the case with this cane. I was concerned about the tip not being rubber but it has been "grippy" enough to present no problems."

Read the reviews first...

"The cane itself is very effective in it's use. However the main issue I have with it is that the tip of the cane is definitely NOT rubber. It's plastic. My buddy I bought it for had a couple of close calls before we were able to get a rubber tip that fit. Other than that the cane is a good buy. Hoping it never needs to be used for protection, but if it is I'm confident in it's durability."

Get a new tip that's really rubber

"It's a great cane: sturdy without being heavy. I haven't had to use it in self-defense yet, but it's hefty enough for the job. Note, however, that the other reviewers are right about the tip. It is plastic, so you'll need to replace it with a tip that's actually rubber. My local pharmacy didn't have a 1 inch tip, so I had to order one from Amazon. I was initially worried about how well the new tip would stay on the cane since the original was held on with a screw, and the new tip wasn't set up for that. However, I needn't have worried. The new tip slid on securely, and when I pulled it off to check how well it stayed on, it came off with an audible "pop". Pushing the snug-fitting tip onto the cane created a good seal that should keep it on for years. Definitely worth the price. I don't know why I waited so long before buying it."

Solid, works well

"I had gotten one of those "aiGear Premium Walking Sticks" from Amazon, really nicely CNC'd and made up of sections, each one with a different tool or weapon. I'm 6'3", so the ability to add a section for extra length sounded appealing. Well, it is well made, but much better in theory than reality - it's heavy, it's 'clang-y' and cold being aluminum, it's kinda threatening and it's a bit unwieldy. I've hardly used it, and getting to the various self-defense tools in a hurry - forget about it. So I got one of these, and it's actually just about ideal. The length is enough, the material is strong yet not cold or metallic-clang-y, and it just feels good. As a cane, this is far superior, and recommended."

warning about the warning

"you WILL NOT get a 3/4th rubber tip on this cane. if you do, you will see why it won't last. i highly siggest getting a standard cane grip or a 1" grip and filling any space with gripping agent like tape or glue. cutting the soft rubber off wont be a problem after. otherwise still a good buy, the handhold is very rough though, so expect calluses if you dont already have them in the same spots."
