"I purchased the Morpheus recently because I wanted something a little bit bigger than what I normally carry. However, I was concerned about the potential for the action being slower due to the larger heavier blade. This was NOT the case with the Morpheus. The knife is most definitely larger overall and boasts a 4 1/2” polished 440 stainless blade that comes out of the box pretty damn sharp. Also a heavy duty nylon sheath that’s adjustable in both the belt loop and overall length in case you wanted to use it for something else. A well mounted heavy duty pocket clip. Now, if I had to knock it down a couple pegs(keeping in mind this is personal preference ONLY) I’m not a big fan of rubberized coatings for the simple fact that they do not last very long and send to quickly scratch away fast. Also the Morpheus doesn’t come with a glass breaker which I know for some is a pretty played out feature, but for me it’s still a darn handy tool to have on board and for the price point it really ought to be there. So all and all it’s a very well made, solid, heavy in the hand, fast action all around quality knife that I feel comfortable with spending the money I did on it. If you’re an auto blade enthusiast and are looking for a Step Up in size OTF auto blade to add to your already mounding pile of blades… then get Viper-Tec’s Morpheus!! It’s well worth the buy."
