Better then Nothing
"I think this sheath is a double edge sword. Its a piece of history and covers the blade it also gives the 1918 a more authentic war time look also sold at a decent price. That being said rattle is crazy no matter how much i try to fix it. It does not fit snug on the blade and sheath is a few inches to big for the blade which causes rattling of the blade in it like a cow bell. It does the job for a wall hanger but nothing else really."

"The sheath is nice and fits the blade good. Some minor adjustments needed to be made so the sheath would friction lock onto the blade. Minor pressure at the top of the sheath to slightly bend the metal inward using only finger pressure was enough to get the blade to stay in the sheath. Also do this at the bottom (point end) to keep the sheath tight so it won't rattle."

"Ok y’all , I just received my 1918 Trench Knife and scabbard. First, the knife: great purchase !! Had to tighten it up (of course). The 1918 Mk 1 was not sharp. However, they are not supposed to be. Look it up. It feels great, not quite as heavy as an original but hey, I don’t want to pay 900$ for a real one. Lol. Beware to all you newbies that “play war”. This is NOT a toy. This is a man killer. And an accident waiting to happen if you “play” with it. Train with it sure but no horse play. Plz! I love and hope I never have to use it. Second, the sheath ??. It’s cheap of course. But, you have to have a sheath w this killing machine. The belt keepers fit well w my chest rig mollie but on of the spot welds came loose and will not retain the weapon. Gonna fix that today. Easy fix. Overall I Highly recommend this package. I give It 5 stars. For the price, fast shipping and a great company it’s a no brainer. I will say, if it does come down to it, this knife is what you want. Hands down. Jack"
