"Looks good the arm strap and handle are annoying to put in but it hangs on the wall anyway have master sword to go with it together they look good. Doesn't have a steel look I was hoping for but I like it."
"Overall this shield is an amazing piece of work, nice paint and a good solid feel to it's construction. I got this for my sister's boyfriend as a Christmas gift but unfortunately the packing it came in was trashed. I had to open up the actual package to make sure everything was okay with the shield. Took me a while to find a piece of the handle because it had fallen out of the shield's box and into the packaging without me noticing. Overall this is a great piece for any Link or Legend of Zelda fan, and I am hoping that the absolutely terrible state of the package was from the postal worker not from someone at Budk cause I love you guys."
"The shield looks pretty much as pictured, about 2ft in height and about 16in wide. The passing job is just above okay, might need some touching up. It smells terrible, mine smelt like hydrogen peroxide. It was tough getting the handle in, had to unscrew the parts to put the handle in. I can't get the strap to stay, it always falls out (just hooks holding it in place basically), I'll have to try and fix that somehow. Overall, it's a nice shield with a few small imperfections. See mine on instagram, look me up: Leo_Ascendent"
"handles are a bit cheap but shield itself is pretty sturdy. good size too"
"It is not quite as rounded as it looks in the picture, but the paint job on mine is fairly well done (a few bubbles and chips, but what can you expect?), and the construction is solid. The thing that bothers me about it is the hardware and fittings on the back. They are screwed on tightly, but still seem slapped-on and I worry about them breaking when I use it. The metal grates that the arm strap hooks into are soft metal and soon bent from the weight of the shield, but look like they could be replaced by someone industrious. Plan on replacing the provided velcro arm strap if you're buying it for costume use. Oh, and it smells strongly of fiberglass and paint, but that will fade. Overall, accurate OoT Hylian Shield that will make any fan-boy (or in my case, fan-girl) squeal with delight."
"a nice shield only problem was the paint was chipped and the yellow of the triforce has silver painted on it."
"The shield is just great every thing the picture shows but my only problem is the chain. The chain broke the second i lifted the shield up by it but other than the chain it is worth every penny if your a major nerd like me."
"An amazing replica of the shield from the game. I pulled this out of the box, and at at that moment my friends were offering me money for it. But I still said GTFO! Looks amazing on my wall, along with the sword they also sell here. I just wish it were made out of metal! Overall 5/5, BUY IT!"
"Well, I must say that I was imprerssed by how quickly it came obviously. Because I'm making a Link costume, the shield is pivital. The paintjob on it is good though there are a few imperfections. The size is perfect and I though it would weigh more (from my previous fiberglass experience). My only gripe is that I wish it was able to be born on the right arm and not the left, but I guess I can let accuracy on arm placement slide."
