Trailblazer Wool Blanket - Olive Drab Green - 51" x 80" - 2 Pounds - Heavy and Warm - BOGO

I don’t think I could ever use anything other than these blankets. I ordered some about 8-10 years ago and I’ve not wanted to use anything else but these. Warm enough for a cold winter (I use two) but light enough for any season, I highly recommend these to anyone.

So while I was waiting for my blankets. I had a accident where they had to amputate both my legs. Here in the hospital my son brought me one of these wonderful warm and comforting blankets. I love them and recommend them to all. Thank you again.

I sleep with these blankets every night since bootcamp. got used to them in da military now I never leave home without one. Heck we used these to sleep with in California Desert. Then went back to ship and never lost a thread. Just shake out sand and go. At these prices roll put webstrap on and carry anywhere you go in da bush.

Very good addition to a winter prep box. The price makes it very easy to customize to a personal need (blanket #1--stitch the foot end together to make a pocket for a sleeping bag/cover to stay warm while in a recliner, blanket #2-- cut into wool poncho with hi-vis safety vest stitched to it so I can easily put it on/take it off when outside of my work vehicle). Each blanket is a $10 investment that will keep you from freezing while being gentle on your wallet nerve when a make to fit situation arises.

The BOGO offer for these Army blankets was too good to pass up. The quality of the blankets is very good !

I still have an old wool army blanket that's probably 60 years old. So, I ordered these. I gifted them to loved ones to keep in trunk, wonderful picnic blankets, or breakdown on the road light weight, water resistance, love these rough things.

It seems like every time I place an order from BUDK, I add a couple of these blankets to my order. First off, bogo is a great deal and these blankets come in handy for just about any situation. 50/50 blend is no reason not to get these as they do keep you warm and are durable as well. I keep several on hand in the house and in every vehicle along with a bug out bag.

Fast shipping, bogo was an excellent deal. Mine smelled of something like gasoline when I fist got them. I washed them in the delicate cycle and the smell is much less strong. It's much larger than a throw, so it actually covers me on the couch. The wool makes it very warm, so it saves on heat! I highly recommend. But maybe let it hang on a clothes line for a few days, or wash but do NOT tumble dry. It not a US military issue, but it's a very good blanket for the couch.

the only thing i could say bad about it is that it has an of-gassing of smell, other than that it's fine

I bought two of these blankets for my cabin in northern Michigan. They are warm and of excellent huskily. By the time you buy an old army blanket and have it dry cleaned, you could have purchased three of these high quality blankets. I put one through the wash, and it came out fine. I am going to get 4 more blankets for next winter. I spent $150. And didn’t get my free gift. I called and I was sent a Gil hibben reaper karambit, no hassle what so ever. What a great knife, I use it as an ulu shredder/chopper for cooking. My next order will enclude the Hibben legacy ulu for my deer camp cooking. Keep up the good work guys, I love getting packages from you during this epidemic, it brings a little chear into this dismal world

In my 30 years of service, I hated the scratchy damn army blanks, and they still scratch. I love for there sturdiness and warmth. I have them packed in our emergency kit, and I know when I need them, they will be available to help and protect my family after all Wool is one to the best to protect from the cold wet or dry. Excellent product.

After a brief mishap on the shipping company's part, I got my blankets. They're heavy, and should be perfect for my emergency kit. There'll be more additions if this is any indication of the quality I'll get.

These blankets are a good size and are nice and warm. I keep one in my truck for use around my shoulders on cold nights or days and take them camping. They are nice quality.

I bought these a year or so ago, along with some other supplies, just to stockpile them. I just opened one of them, tonight. Very nice heavy little blanket. Just right for one person, or two could snuggle. Since these are BOGO, snuggle up under two and really be extra warm. Great for layering warmth. I might grab two more, just because. Great price.

They're not as good as the official wool military blankets my father brought back from the service. But they are military style and warm. I bought one pack for use in the car instead of beach towels. And in case we had more power outages again this coming winter. Then my elderly mother had me order another three packs/six blankets just to stock pile them for emergency use. Just a helpful suggesting to everyone, use plenty of fabric softener when washing these. Especially the first time because there will be lots of dryer lint.

Okay, I bought 2 more. 1 for an extra blanket in my truck topper camping and the other for who knows. Anyways, these are good to have around for just in case or to shove in your pack or to use at home or as your dogs bed or ??? Reviewed by The Steve

Not the best but for a BOGO it was a deal. It is a looser weave and not really very heavy. I have a couple of the better quality 4lb blankets and this one does not compare. I knew it wouldn't but for an emergency I carry it along with a 6x8 tarp in my hunting pack. Better than nothing and along with the tarp, paracord and some fire starter I should be good to go if I get to far off course. A couple years ago, in the Oregon Cascades, I got to following a huge buck and it just never let me get a shot. Kept following it and realized it was almost dark and clouds were coming in fast. Walked back out for over 4 hours in the heavy rain/sleet. If I had this blanket and my tarp gear I could have thrown up a quick camp and had been a lot warmer for the walk out at first light. This blanket could make the difference if another crap situation comes around.
