The knife has an amazing weight and feel to it, it's big and meaty! The bkade for me staps out and locks in place perfectly. I am giving it 4 out of 5 purely because it, like many knives here, has the brass and stone wash only on one side of the handle!

Ok. So, I have big hands....carpenter's hands. This knife is an absolute surprise. $6.98? Steampunk? Yeah, it must be thin and cheap, right? Wrong. This knife is heavy, sharp, and large enough that if you needed to defend yourself it is big for a pocket knife. I have 11 years of martial arts training and I feel like this knife is an amazing value. You won't forget you have it on you, it is imposing when out, and it feels it won't ever stop doing what it is supposed to do. Buy it, especially if you want a beautiful, stonewashed, cool-looking, hardcore self-defense knife. I am amazed that I got this knife for this price.

Solid! Reviewed by kenneth jay on Jan 21, 2017   5 out of 5

Sometimes I want a heavy solid knife in my pocket. Sharp out of the box. I chuckled at the comments about speed. That's a lot of blade to move. I've got the star bit to fine tune it. It opens smooth and quick with a satisfying solid jerk of heavy metal.

This knife is awesome I just got it today I was so excited to hold it in my hand it is a little too big but I can use it still. It is a little to heavy but I won't regret buying this. THANKS GUYS I LOVE IT.

This knife came in perfect condition, it looks amazing, there are no scratches, it feels extremely solid and well put together, also the steel is very thick and it is a lot heavier than i was expecting, which is a great thing to me. It is an amazingly well-constructed and extremely sturdy knife that you will not regret buying.

nothing funny here Reviewed by ben anglin on Mar 22, 2016   5 out of 5

I expected this to be a goofy knife because of all the steampunk decoration, but was completely surprised at the weight, buildout, and finish. At least a pound and a half of metal, and a blade that is almost longer than the grip. Makes a helluva noise when opened. Could also be very effective as a closed-weapon. Certainly one of the best BudK values available. kinda sexy too!

Good Knife Reviewed by Kaya Hallelujah on Dec 22, 2015   5 out of 5

I wasn't expecting much for the price, and mainly bought it because I liked the way it looks. I am very happy with this knife. It's not as fast as other assisted opening knives I've had but it definitely does what it's supposed to do. It was also very sharp out of the box and looks exactly as is shown in the photo. Definitely not disappointed.
