Dull, dull, dull Reviewed by on Nov 07, 2015   5 out of 5

This is a cool knife, I carry it everywhere I go, it arrived extremely DULL!!!!! I mean, COMPLETELY DULL. It took a VERY LONG time to sharpen. The scabbard/sheath is cool, I have no REAL complaints about the knife, other than the dullness. I've worn it every day, everywhere I go for almost a year and haven't had a single problem.

Excellent reproduction. My house is being renovated and once its ready this knife and two books will be placed on my shelf in my WWII historical section along with two books about the Hitler Youth. Now for the humorous part a friend of mine saw it and liked it so much that I ordered it for him as it is an excellent knife to cut mangoes with. The non humorous part is. The knife is so well made that it can be used for other things in lieu of being put on a shelf with other historical items.

Very good replica Reviewed by Greg on Feb 23, 2014   4 out of 5

A very nice replica and good quality. The only negative I see is the leather belt loop - it is a bit flimsy. I see that loop tearing if used any length of time. However, if you just have the knife as a collectable, this should not be a problem.

It is not a bad Knife. But it is a historically inaccurate replica of the 1937 Hitler youth dagger. It's overall length is too long, and the handle emblem is not made like the original. It screams replica! RZM marking is wrong and the "Blut und Ehre!" marking is too lightly etched. The blade is not as wide as an original. A real HJ dagger will not fit into the sheath. Worth the money for what it is, but will not fool anyone.

Good collectable for display. Construction cheaper than original, which was a solid piece with handle sides added. However, stainless steel makes it maintenance free. Infinitely less expensive than owning a real one. The "Blood and Honor" motto is a nice touch that was done on percentage of real ones. I wonder if recently resigned, Joseph Rattsinger (aka: Pope Benedict) still has his.

When I bought this weapon I did not like it at all... I LOVED IT! THIS THE BEST WW2 KNIFE, AND IM PROUD TO BUY FROM BUDK.COM. Every time I place an order I am never regretfull for it.

The knife is OK as a replica. The blade is rather cheaply done, with a satin inish. Nice handel, with mirror polished hilt and pommel. Not bad for the price.

Not a bad knife for the money.

It was worth it Reviewed by Cameron Morgan on Oct 30, 2011   4 out of 5

Very good buy. It was sharp and not full tang like the originals. The only negative thing I have to say is I despise the etch that says it was made in China. Besides this, great buy for any WWII memorabilia collector. Worth $13.99.
