Squirt guns are more realistic. Reviewed by Andy Alexander on Jun 13, 2016   5 out of 5

Oh its unique alright.. " Constructed of rustic hardwood (aka stained balsawood), metal (screws) and (95%) plastic, this replica features intricate designs and details." but hey, for $10 it really LOOKS good.. just dont let anybody look to close. :)

not what you expect Reviewed by josh on Feb 13, 2015   1 out of 5

this item is wood, metal, and plastic, however, the gun has a wooden handle but it is mostly plastic. in the picture provided it looks metal but everything that looks metal is actually plastic. the only metal in the piece is the screws holding the thing together

Very poor quality Reviewed by Boe on Feb 06, 2015   1 out of 5

Order 4 of these for a custom prop. The page says they're wooden and cast metal but when they arrived I was very disappointed. Three out of the four had broken parts laying in the bubble wrapping. Three cocks and on push rod tip had snapped off either before or during shipment. It's not a functioning piece but the trigger does make some odd plastic snapping sound when pressed. The trigger guard and other plastic parts do not meet the wooden stock flushed. Please don't misunderstand that it's a $9 prop and you get what you pay for. However that being said the item description is misleading to say it's cast metal and wood not plastic and wood. Budk issued me shipping labels to return them for a refund and acknowledged that it was misrepresented on the site but still has not changed the description.

Cheap Toy Reviewed by CG on Dec 11, 2014   1 out of 5

This is a cheap toy. It's light as a feather with a plastic barrel, plastic hammer and trigger and trigger guard, and as mentioned by another reviewer, it doesn't cock and makes only a soft click when the trigger is pulled. At the time I ordered this, I also ordered some Denix flintlock pistols - there is no comparison. This is not up to Budk's usual standards. Get the Denix pistols. Pass on this one. It won't pay to return this, so I'll display it too - at a distance!

This replica pistol is a nice pirate themed desktop display item. The blunderbuss cam with a plastic stand so it's ready to set up. I have it on a shelf with a replica cannon and sailing ship model. It might also make a good costume piece at such a low price. The lock moves but cant be cocked or released by trigger. The pan opens. Clicking sound when you pull the trigger.

Beautiful piece of plastic. Doesn't work! Pretty but good for hanging on the wall and that's it.
