Product Description
This CRKT Woods Kangee was designed by legendary tomahawk maker Ryan Johnson from RMJ Tactical. Each 9 1/2" tomahawk head is forged from one solid hunk of 1055 carbon steel and attached to a thick hickory handle cut from the hills of Tennessee. The back of the hawk offers a vicious spike that can split woods or crack skulls with ease.
When I received this Hawk, it was sharp out of the Box. The quality is spot on and the handle is not weak.
Now, lets talk customization: The options are numerous, I got the sheath and added some things I thought would make it Practical.

Awesome tomahawk
this tomahawk is awesome! It is well built and very sturdy! Holds an edge quite well. Only bummer is that it doesn't come with a sheath, but that is easily remedied with some scraps of Kydex to make a blade cover and pike cover linked with shock cord.

impressed
a very good overall tomahawk. the picture does it no justice as to how big it is, its pretty much an axe. I have used it for basic camp chores and was very impressed by the quality of it as its only a $47 axe. The edge retention is excellent rarely needs sharpening, I've also had no problems with the head coming loose. The spike on the other end has proven more useful than I thought and is pretty much indestructible. I've put the spike though a steel tub and drum and it only scuffed it. The handle is very durable but still recommend putting paracord on it. as for grip of the handle well its a wood handle so slippery when wet. The weight is a lot heavier than most of my tomahawks but it still is exceptional for throwing. as far as chopping trees its no axe but just about as close as your going to get without actually getting an axe. without being biased its probably the best tomahawk you are going to find for the price.
