Don't just read about World War II history - wear it! This classic "steel pot" is the genuine article - an authentic Soviet Russian M52 helmet, donned by a Red Army soldier in WWII! And though it's more than 70 years old, there's still plenty of life left in this awesome piece of military history! Our supply of helmets is in superb condition, with just some minor scratches and other cosmetic blemishes. Even the iconic Red Army stars are clearly visible - still solid, still vibrantly colored. But that's to be expected, frankly, as the M52 was a veritable solid steel tank among headgear. Even today, it's capable of providing ample head protection - perfect for tactical operations, demolition and countless other "hardhat-necessary" tasks (note advanced age and use at your own risk). Despite its tough build, the M52 is surprisingly comfortable, with its adjustable leather inner suspension and adjustable leather chin strap. Of course it's also great for costumes, collecting and display. And unless you own a time machine, this may be one of your last opportunities to nab one of these rare WWII relics. Get yours while you still can!

Nice Addition to Collection Reviewed by on May 21, 2018   5 out of 5

This Russian helmet will make a great addition to my collection. It is in excellent shape. The paint is complete with the usual storage small scrapes from years of storage. The liner and chin strap are mint condition. Yes, the red star is a decal and not paint. Oh well, other wise this is a great addition. Will display well. I did not intend to wear it so the size is of no consequence to me.

The Star Isn't Painted On Reviewed by Amy Liedel on Apr 28, 2018   5 out of 5

You can tell by the picture that the star is actually a sticker put on at some point. It is even more obvious when you actually get it. This helmet is really small so be careful if you have even a slightly larger than average head. The quality is good and it is almost from WWII so it has that going for it as well. I really just wish it was available in more than one size.

Perfect piece for my collection, and few scratches. Reviewed by on Jan 30, 2018   5 out of 5

I ordered this helmet about a week ago and I got it yesterday. It came in a box with a ton of paper to protect it. the helmet came with a few scratches, but the star was perfect and had no paint missing on it. I think the suspension system is good, and the steal is thick, but not that heavy. The strap feels good on my neck/chin, but it is a little hard to do up nicely. Mine is a size 2, and is dated 1954. The steel is a few Millimeters thick, so it would probably stop a 9mm or a .45 (even though these helmets were not meant for bullet, just shrapnel. (dont shoot yourself with a gun, even though it might stop the bullet.).
