It's everything the ad says but if you definitely need it for support I would not recommend it as the scabbard tip does not give enough friction to keep it from slipping. My legs don't work so well any more and I don't feel confident using it for support. It I also very heavy. If you want it for a club or to ad it's beauty to add to your collection buy it but if you need it for support to keep from falling pass it by,

This is the most beautiful (and functional) sword cane I own (of many indeed) If you do not buy this cane you will be sorry when it runs out. I have already received many positive comments about this cane while shopping in town. Sturdy, weighty and the blade reposes in gold.
