To Devin from Texas below, 90% of all things we use in Daily life is "Made in China" From tooth Brushes, TV's, phones, Smart Phones, electronics, Cloths, Plumbing supplies, Car Parts, Appliances and the forks, spoons and knives that we've been since childhood! I got News for you 95% of the So Called American, German, Swiss Brand Knives and Tools that are Sold Are made using Steel bought from China! They are forged/Crafted, assembled and packaged in the USA! I'm not saying that I like this fact but that's the way it is. As far as this Axe is Concerned there is Nothing wrong with it and for the Price How can you Complain? It's a Throwing Axe not a Tree Chopping Axe! Compared to all the tomahawks ive bought, im just a little miffed, I like it ok, but im going to modify it for sure, the saw back on the spike is just for show, the spike itself isnt sharp. I am pretty sure its not going to stand up to heavy use very well, its made in china, which isnt advertised. The sheath is the best feature, its the only one I have that you put the 'hawk in from the top, which is great, no worries about it falling out while on the move, but the cheap yarn i have yet to replace gets caught and makes taking it out annoying. Ill keep it, mainly because its so light and thows pretty well, but the base of the handle protudes out at the back, giving slight discomfort, so keep your hand on the wrap while throwing or grind that off. I dont recommend it, except that its cheap and light for throwing.
