Product Description
This 15th Century War Hammer was an important tool in the arsenal of the medieval soldier, who often fought against opponents in heavy armor. Well worth it!
Bought this on a whim, used it in a Scottish "live steel" historical re-enactment group. Held up amazingly well to regular practice against stage-combat broadswords and lasted the run of the festival before taking sufficient damage to need to be retired. Considering I have had swords costing 3x as much last a fraction of the time, well worth the cost. Just ordered another for this year's performance!

Best thing at budk
This was a great surprise, I had low expectations but was very happy with this product. Very heavy duty. I would use this on any intruder instead of the many guns I own.

An amazing piece! Well worth the price and also the best deal I could find online. Nothing seemed lacking when I got this a few day after ordering. All parts were very sturdy. Nothing loose at all. Wood handle is light but holds the metal very well.

This is a fine fine piece. Well balanced, though I haven't tested it yet on anything solid. It seems rather sturdy with the only flaw being that the head is a little loose. However, after some tugging and pulling initially I can say I feel rather assured this hammer head is not going anywere.

More importantly its a beautifull displace piece. If push came to shove I'm certain this weapon would hold its own in a fight, and likewise with style. The stainless steel and fitted gaurds are beautifull as ewll.

An awe inspiring weapon and a good choice for all collectors. I suggest one in every medieval weapons collection.

Definitely a good buy. The one complaint i have is that its butt cap is really loose

The head was a little loose, but its very easy to fix. This is such a fun weapon to swing around. Swords you have to worry about scratching or even ruining the blade; this you do not.

nice weapon
A very nice weapon for the money! The head has a good weight and it is well constructed. I was afraid (from the picture) that the handle was too short, but it's just right. The only drawbacks were that the wood was not finished and the support strips should have been inset in the handle. But I was still impressed enough to buy another one. Thanks BudK!
