Great item to have along in the outdoors while hunting or camping!
This is a great buy on a little hatchet. Perfect for cutting kindling.

Very Good
This is a very good tomahawk. I got this for my friends for Christmas and they loved it. Does not come too sharp but it still stuck in the wood when we were throwing it. Extremely well for the price. I would buy another.

Great Little Buy
Great hatchet for the price. Buddy loved it as a gift. Would purchase again in a minute.

Filled its purpose
These were great some people though either didn't read or pay attention to what the description says about its not meant to be thrown (but can be) tomahawk in the name is just the brand but the hatchet filled its purpose as a hatchet by my mountaineer standards

what?
got this tomahawk while getting other hatchets and throwing axes so wasnt really paying attention to the size so when i had opened up the pakage and saw a little axe i was like wtf. I endded up breaking the case as soon as i opened it so i was a little disappointed in that but i went out side and sharpened a few twigs and decided to throw it and to my amazment the sucker stuck on the first throw so i threw another and another and they both stuck unfortunatly i had lost the paracord on the third throw so i wrapped in electrical cord and it works great actually just bought 3 more just to use as throwing axes -great buy id say

Great Buy
A very good buy. Have shown it around to Knife people. considered sturdy. Paracord handle is great. It's used the same as having a knife with a 550 cord handle.Would buy again.

I love these little guys. And trust me, they are little. You won't be cutting down tree's with these anytime soon. However, they are a solid piece of metal and REALLY fun to throw. I'd get two or three for my target. As for the sheath, mine works great! Buttons and all.

awesome
I love it when i got it the first thing i did was field tested it it throws good and chops good and it sharpens good and holds an edge very good and would be great for a snipers bag.

Firs purchase-not even close to my last
This was my first purchase.Along with 2 Cavalry swords and a Sawback Machete, this Tomahawk Axe was probably the best thing i ever purchased. Not that its much of a problem, but after a few throws the back tip paint got scratched but it was easy to repaint. Thanks Budk!

Tomahawk Combat axe
Let see..where do I begin? I don't think this will really be of any use in combat, been there done that..this is way too small. That said, I can see a use other than combat..say..personal protection, ya gotta ditch the case, its OK, but when seconds matter..you definitely don't want to be putzin with the case, tryin to get this out and in use. For small camp details, this will work fine, when mine arrived it was quite sharp..however, I'm one of those that if its sharp now..it can and will be a lot sharper when I'm done with it. All in all I'm satisfied, didn't plan on the small size, but am now used to it. It now resides in my everyday go bag, sits in there next to one of my other BUDK favorites, the neck knife. When not hanging around my neck..it..goes into my go bag. This way no matter what..I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I will always be armed.

Tomahawk compact hatchet
Little smaller than expected, but perfect size for bugout bag, not going to build a log cabin with it but it will work for survival which is what I wanted.

I got two of these a while back. I wasn't sure about the size with me having big hands. After some time with them. I have come to like them a lot. They fit nicely in my bag. Dont see me lumberjacking with em though. My only big issue was that cheap pos cord that they came wrapped in. Removed that and replaced it with some 550 paracord and we were in business. With the price I give it a 4.

Not a toy
This axe performs just as any axe would, just remember it pick a smaller job for it. It wasn't very sharp at all. It's the prefect campfire complement.

Not bad!
Seems to me that the people who bought this item and complain about it, are people who failed to READ that it is a hatchet (8 1/2 inches long), not a "lumberjack's axe"! For the price, a good-product. Worth the purchase (for non-idiots who won't cut themselves).

Hekuvanaxe
Great camping/hiking axe. Small but great because it is compact. Sturdy and sharp.
Derick Rak Dec 03, 2011 (4 out of 5)
Smaller then the picture makes it look. The sheath for it is cheaply made and the snaps on it broke apart very quickly. <br />The axe itself however is very nice. It comes dull but sharpens easy and keeps its edge.

Good item
Amazing quality for the money! Nice steele, very sharp upon arrival. I dropped it fresh out of the package and it stuck in the bedpost of my bed! NOW, BudK, double the size and I will buy a dozen of those for my entire family!

E-GLIDEBIKER
Suitable for your Lizzie Borden dollhouse. It will, however, cut baling twine on hay bales so it does have a use. Small size would pack well for backwoods, just don't expect to "fell the mighty oak". You might be there for a while!
