Product Description
This cast metal knuckle guard is a sure bet that you will be prepared whenever you need it. The entire piece fits perfectly in hand.
These knuckles are really something special. Unlike traditional brass knuckles, these are not heavy or large and do not rely on weight and brute force. Instead, this design incorporates semi-spikes which will cause SERIOUS damage to whatever you are dueling. Very slim, lightweight, and seem to be quite durable. Definitely recommend!

Bantam Weight Fighter
Too darn light, so in that respect, a roll of quarters is a better choice. And way too thin, which translates into quite a bit of pain when slamming hard objects. The cord wrapping doesn't help much, but does look cool. These are two serious problems for any paperweight. But there is good news. ok so you don't get any force multiplication from weight, but weight costs hand speed. These meat tenderizers give you decent force multiplication from the spikes and bracing of the fist, without reducing hand speed. After years of practicing with Okinawan Tekko that weigh 0.5 to 2.5lbs, these things are almost a vacation. The annoying thinness also add some force multiplication to strikes. The lightweight, thinness and black color make them very concealable and disposable. Speaking of disposable brings us to the greatest virtue of these little rib crackers. They are cheap. Got mine on the BOGO and free shipping too. So I got a pair for doing tekko kata and another pair for an active duty friend. At that price it's hard to NOT get your money's worth out of them. so although I can't really recommend them over heavy brass, these bantamweights get the job done dirt cheap.

alright
These are Ok brass knuckles. They are extremely thin and do not fit the hand very well. This being said, budk does carry other, better products. The solid brass variety is the best they have, followed the the black ones. Even though these knuckles arent the best, they are great gifts and great for display. They look great and you can feel how devastating the spikes are. If you plan on using brass knuckles then these are not recomended. Just go with the unspiked kind. In reality budk isnt the best place to purchase brass knuckles. I will say that these look very powerful and put on a great impression, just dont expect them to work well or be comfortable.

Quality Vs. Cost
Personally I'm not a fan. It is light weight but we're not talking about something that was so bulky it needed to be trimmed down for efficiency. If you bought them to show off or add to your collection then I'm sure they work just fine in that capacity. If you have never hit someone, been hit by, or seen someone hit or get hit with "Knuckles" then I get why these wouldn't be a problem. Its not like the movies where someone gets hit several times and only suffers a busted lip. The first time I saw "Knuckles" in action I was shocked by the amount of carnage they can cause to the human face with one punch. If you get them to use (or in my case to have them to use but hope I don't have to) then you will already be prepared for a one punch devastator so you should get a thicker pair that offers better protection for your fist. That being said, if you buy them and don't like them you wont be too disappointed because the price isn't bad at all. I took the cord it came with off, (I'm pretty sure it's regular cord) then I put both pair together and rewrapped it with paracord 550 and its much better.
