If you are looking for a quality EDC that will take and retain a shaving edge and never wiggle, you shouldn't be shopping in the $5 wallet savers. Any blade I purchase for under $20, I do so with every intention of putting in work and improving it. This is an AMAZING deal. AMAZING. It has an actual handle made for comfort and is made of an actual, identifiable steel. AUS series steels are low quality import steels, but it's not a mystery steel like so so many. You would pay upwards of $12.99 to $20.00 for in some stores ive been to. If you want a blade to cherish and polish and pass down to the grandkids, go to Kult of Athena. If you want the most affordble selections for awesome stuff that will work when you unbox it, welcome to BudK. Buy this knife for no other reason than it being less than a pack of smokes. It'll last you much longer.

Display Knife
I purchased this as an accessory to its big brother the MM hunting knife. They look great together on display. I don't believe it would stand up to use but it is pretty to look at and worth the price. LJP

twisted
the blade is skewed in the handle, and the knife is obviously made by younger hands. In Pakistan, etc., the bigger knives are crafted by older men.
Okay sheath, but the snap appears to be at least 10 years old... makes the knife look aged. The handle needs oiling, the brass needs polishing, the blade needs sharpening... not really worth the effort. Still a cutie for the price. Will give to someone knife-ignorant...

Sharp, beautiful old fasioned dagger
I was shocked at how sharp the knife is. Its almost too sharp. On one side of the blade it says "mountain man" and on the opposite "Pakistan". This knife feels like one my father would has owned. Very strong and heavy. The only complaint I have is the sheath. The box states it's leather but it feels man-made. Parts of it feels like thick paper and foam rubber. Also the button snap has a bit of rust and corrode. It does keep the blade contained but I would prefer plastic. The knife itself is amazing though. The handle feels especially nice. The handle being round and shaped the right way I doubt someone could take it from me. If someone broke in I would feel confident protecting myself with this. This is the perfect dagger.

My Sidekick.
This handy tool is a must have at this price. Its perfect size to wear at your side, its 100% legal. I keep it on my waist instead of my boot though . 5stars thanks BudK!

Pretty good,
The blade itself is fine, its nice and thick (for a blade this size), sharp, handles perfect. Only problem is the sheath, its a crappy leather, and also wont snap with the knife in it. Its tight enough without the blade but once its in, theres no chance of closin it

Killer knife for $5
If you don't have much money this knife is one of the best deals on BUDK i love the look and feel of it and i use it literally every day. people have offered me 20 bucks for it the handle is solid and the blade can get pretty sharp after a bit of work just don't go stabbing anything with it, the tip bends easily but is easy to bend back into place.

Not what I expected
This knife was incredibly cheap. It has a nice classic look and comes relatively sharp and was too hard to sharpen further. However, this is an incredibly small knife. It's partly my fault for not reading closely enough so I won't hold it against it, but it really is a small knife. The big problem with this knife however, is the thickness. It is incredibly thin, and of course not very good quality steel. While lower quality steel can suffice for a small knife because this one is so very thin it bends with the smallest amount of force. Especially at the tip, but along most of the knife it can be bent relatively easily by hand. So, if you just want a classic looking knife in mini form to look at and cut soft things it will do, but overall I think this is not good for what most people would want.

Okay for the money
Bought this knife because it was cheap and cool looking. Once I received it I was slightly disappointed in the point but it was alright for the money. It has that old knife look and feel. Buy it for the price.

Dull as hell
This knife came to me as dull as can be. It was so dull I could rub my finger up and down the blade while applying pressure.

Its so so
Purchased mine not knowing what to expect. Opened up the box and had mixed emotions with this product. The knife does look pretty however the symbol on the knife is really faded and you can't really tell what it is. The sheath of the knife is pretty horrible to be honest it looks like its ready to fall apart. The edges of the knife are some what gritty and not really sharp. The wood and brass on the knife however is very nice to look at. I will have to get the knife sharpened. It is a cool little knife but I guess I expected a little more out of it.

Mountain man knife
For starters the sheath is absolutely terrible the leather it is made from falls apart and the stitching causes the sheath to split in two when I first received it I had to re-sow the split sides of the knife so I ended up just throwing it away. Now the knife could have lived up to its name if had an edge when it arrived I first noticed that the blade had no edge at all and after and hour of wet stoning and grinding the edge just wouldn't last. Now the handle the brass fasteners were loose and crooked and there was really now way to tighten or straighten them and the brass also had green tarnish built up on it. So ultimately I'm really disappointed in the knife quality I'd say your better off saving your money, plus I really don't expect this from BUDK cuz I buy from them all the time
