Product Description
This World War II M3 dagger is a highly detailed replica of the original M3, designed in 1943 and intended to be used by any U.S. soldier during World War II who was not equipped with a bayonet. The first troops to receive the M3's were the Airborne, Mountain Ranger and Glider infantry units.
I bought this just for the scabbard.I have an original that I needed a sheath for until I can find a real one. After I opened it I was able to place them side by side and get a good look.Wow.No its not the same metal. what a good looking knife. For a sharper blade use a metal file,no problem. The normal sharpening methods wont work until you take the factory edge off. The original fits perfect in the scabbard. I ended up giving it to my son and decided not to break up that pairing. It looked way to new to go with my knife. For 30 bucks plus shipping and tax I should have just waited and found an original scabbard. My son loves his as I do mine. I just don't get to carry it around just yet. If you want one and cant find or afford an original get this one for sure. You will love it. I was going to tear the knife apart and use it for pieces and parts for other stuff but just could not do it. It was way to nice. Trust me when I say that's saying a lot. I don't have issues tearing apart knives made in other countries to make my own franken knives. The bokken for 79 dollars is super nice also.I tried to get that 13 dollar cheapo but they were out. So having seen the original and all the knockoffs but one, this one is pretty. Its a poker not a chopper. Peace.

Great Collector Piece
Easily worth the $30 bucks and half the price of the many other better known brand M3 Daggers. Great, great collector piece.

a nice one
Got this knife to put in an original Army M8A1 scabbard that I have. A perfect fit and look somewhat like the miltary jungle knife I also have. The scabbard that comes with this knife is quite heavy, not a light weight. A little tweeking on it to do, but worth it.

Pretty good
Looks pretty good, came kinda dull, heavy scabbard, priced high at $30.00 but got the 2 for 1 deal which is a great deal.Seems to be solid so far.
