Product Description
Elegance meets practicality with this handsome hunter by Timber Wolf®. The heavy, thick, full-tang blade is razor sharp and built for tough use. It features a beautiful Damascus finish further accented by the genuine olive wood handle. Gleaming brass pins complete the handle. Measures 8” overall. Includes a genuine leather belt sheath.
The design on Damascus blades are acid etched into the blades they don't naturally get the design from combining the two different metals. I'm happy with mine, it came very sharp and has a thick sturdy blade.

Update to my review
I'm not that sure now it is completely fake. I had to make my own edge at the tip and on one side I can clearly see the pattern while on the other side it's hard to tell if there is a pattern or not. On the handle part where metal was not etched I can't see the pattern at all even after I grinded a little bit and polished it.
So I'm kinda confused but I think it could be a modern 'Damascus steel' after all. I've read it is possible to acid etch and bring the pattern out, but I'm not sure I will go that far. After all I like the knife pretty much, but I could polish it some day to bring down that pattern on the blade, I would like much better if it was polished with pattern barely visible.

Texas
I really like this knife... BUT it RUSTS like crazy. It rusted so bad within the first week, I had to sand it off. And of course, the "damascus" design came off too. Not really damascus? I have to keep this knife constantly oiled to keep it from rusting. I've never seen a knife rust so easily, so fast and so bad. Such a lovely knife too. It did come very sharp tho.

Solid knife, not damascus
I didn't read the reviews, trusted pictures and description. Turned out it is not even close to damascus, just decorative pattern on the blade.
And the knife came poorly sharpened, at the tip there was about 1mm wide flat surface which I have to grind off. It will take much time for me without proper tools.
I would like to know what steel is it after all, is it at least more or less decent steel or cheapest one?
Other than that knife looks good and I would love it was it as advertised and sharpened correctly.
