this blade is amazing out of the box wasn't that sharp but that's fine for me because i like to sharpen my own blades. this blade is amazing in every single way. this thing has a point that was needle sharp. made of good quality steel and comfortable in the hand. the sheath is amazing as well a very good concealed carry blade. i might buy another for one of my friends cause his b-day is in a month so over all a excellent blade.

ok i bought this karambit in 09 and i thinks its about time for a review. great quality, very sharp, but the only thing wrong is the nonadjustable finger holes. a little too wide for me, which makes it a little uncomfortable. great product. ill give it 5 since im still using it

first off"self defense" is accurate,it is a good weapon if you practice with it and is absolutely deadly,it sharpens well, and the sheath is a bit tight but it works.

I love the feel of it, and one size fits all. It came razor sharp and it's very durable. Definitely worth the money.

its a good knife. i cut my hand trying to get it out of the sheath the first time but its meant to stay in.

Overall
This is such a wonderful knife to have. Mine however did come with a decent edge over all, and the cutting ability of this knife is astonishing. Just remember when you do want to sharpen it, to only sharpen from the point and 1 inch back from the point. The sheath however can be a little tricky to understand how to get the blade to stay in right, but you will eventually get it. Once again thank you budk for a wonderful product. 5 stars.

Loops are a little bit wider apart but no big deal, it's also hard to get it out of the plastic sheath it comes with, the design is to keep the blade in, and it does that pretty good.

Dope
very nice. I'm always walking around the house carrying it. it wasn't very sharp at all. so only 4 stars

Good Knife
This knife would have gotten 5 stars had it been sharper. Sturdy sheath included. I like this Karambit because it is a solid piece of steel. No rivets, levers, nothing. It is very strong and feels good in your hand whichever way you hold it.

Nice
Out of the box these are soem greasy little critters. But with a little bit of towel lovin' you can get rid of all that. The tip is very sharp and thicker so it wont snap off. The blade itself is not very sharp at all. This is a difficult knife to sharpen with regular sharpeners, I recommend using a sharpening wand (the kind you hone kitchen knives on). If you are persistant, you can achieve a decent blade on it within an hour. The grip is perfect for someone with large hands. Mine hands are medium large and the knife handle (holes and finger grip positioning) feels a little wide spaced when holding the knife in the manner a karambit is to be held. I plan on wrapping the middle of the knife with something (paracord, duct tape, electrical tape) to beef the handle up a bit. If you are looking not to have to do that, I would recommend the Honsho karambit. Looks like a very nice knife, I just didn't want to spend the money on it. The knife is very concealable, I wear mine all the time now and don't even know its there except when I am in the gym doing an overhead press and the shirt rises above the knife, then anyone can see it. but aside from that.. . I would definately recommend this knife to someone looking for a good quality karambit. These babies were ment to do some serious damage! Practice the draw over and over, before sharpening for obvious reasons.

Cool knife
Like a couple of the other review's say, the knife has a super sharp tip, but the blade itself is almost rounded. I have a WORKSHARP knife sharpener and had to use it on this knife for about 45 minutes to get the blade razor sharp. I can shave with the thing if I wanted to now. Great sheath, can be worn with a belt. Good buy for the price.

This knife is just the right size for my hand I like it . Although it could be shaper!
Charles Wang Nov 29, 2011 (4 out of 5)
It did not come fully sharp, and was a little tricky to fully sharpen. However, overall it is handy and rather wicked. For the price range, I can't complain much.

Also, the false edge on the spine is exactly that -a false edge that, while theoretically could be given a bevel, isn't really worth trying to sharpen.

Love the knife. it fits in your hand really good, and its bigger then it looks trust me, but still concealable. only thing i wasnt happy about was onloy the underside is sharpend. but it fits in the sheath really good, and comes out fairly easy. i was happy. 4 outa 5

Okay Karambit
Tip is very sharp, everywhere else is quite dull. It feels a bit funny holding it, the finger holes would rub welts into your fingers easily. The sheath is good though, the knife wont poke through and it fits easily on my belt. Despite its dullness on the edges I carry it consistently.

More sharpness
Expected more sharpness on this one. the sheat is perfext but i have to rearrange the screws to fix it sideways to my belt. its a nice knife very handy but dont let the video fool you its blunt.

Sweet
This is a great karambit, The shieth is good, and very workable on any belt, and the blade -with a bit of sharpening- is very effective to have on yourself.

ok but unimpressed
this knife is ok, the only thing that was actually sharp at all was the tip, the blade couldn't cut through butter if it were hot, the sheathe broke before I even got to use the knife, but it is to be expected when you pay such a low price, still overall after a bit of sharpening and a makeshift sheathe it is an ok blade.
