Product Description
The Kissing Crane logo signifies knives made with Old World tradition and superior attention to detail. This item is no exception to that rule. This Pocket Farmer knife offers a stainless steel 3" drop point blade with a nail nick for easy opening. It has a strong, yellow composite handle and brass liners and nickel silver bolsters and pins.
This knife is beautiful and is very well made. I always wanted a yellow handled knife and now I've got one.

Good kitchen knife
I got this knife about 5 years ago on BUDK for about 7 dollars. It compares similar to my 30 dollar Case Sodbuster and my 19 dollar Italian Antonini pocket farmer in performance. The steel is 440 A with a similar performance to the other two. I would say the craftsmanship is similar too. They all have there ups and downs in different categories. The only minor down which may have been corrected by now, is that the back spring hits the middle of the blade just barely causing it to ding the middle of the edge. After sharpening it for a while it is starting to correct itself though. All in all it is an easy to sharpen blade and the craftsmanship otherwise is good. It's a good Chinese budget knife. Glad I got it when it was dirt cheap.

quality exceeds price
Craftsmanship of the knife is top notch. The composite handle is better done than my 30 dollar CASE sodbuster (Better blade alignment too). The 440 stainless edge retention is decent; not quite as good as the CASE Sodbuster's Tru-sharp stainless steel. Everything considered I like it just as much as my CASE, and it gets the job done.

Super sharp edc
I like the simplicity and vintage style. The yellow is nice and harder to lose. Nice old school knife like your grandpa would have carried.

Light weight
I got this one in the orange; sharp and well made. Very light, easy carry knife. After purchasing this I’d try another Kissing Crane knife. Good value

Great Knife
This is a great knife at a great price. I've had and carried mine over a year and it's been perfect for everyday use. Would recommend.

I like it!
I bought a few of the sod busters to see how they lined up next to the Case sod buster I got for $32.00. I was impressed. I can use these at work without worrying about losing them. (I'm a trucker.) Very good quality.

"Buy American!" WHY?
I recently took delivery of this blade. It is of excellent quality and sharp, for now, and for what it is, it is. It even comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" that states that it is an actual Kissing Crane knife, the product of 175 years of quality German craftsmanship. On the base of the stainless-steel blade is a stamp: "Kissing Crane"; on the reverse there is another stamp that reads "Made in China". Great knife, but the fact remains: Germany and China are not even geographical "Kissing Cousins". What has this country come to? It will not surprise me anymore to find that even the new Harley Davidsons are produced in China. God Bless/Save America.

Quality control?
It came with a small chip out of one of the scales, on back, next to the liner. What the heck? Guess I'll know which one's mine. I like it other than that and a couple minor scratches.
