Functional
This is a nice little knife which is functional for light duty chores, and an easy carry of good quality you may be happy you had at hand. For this price in my opinion you can not go wrong when this knife is used for light duty chores. Snaps open and locks in place well. I recommend getting several and sharing with friends and family who would appreciate this functional knife.

Functional
This is a handy little knife to have around and it fits my hand well. It opens easily. Like the guy in the video said, if your using it for light duty stuff it's just fine. I've opened a few cardboard boxes with it so far and cut a small diameter piece of rope with the serrated edge. I'm not expecting a lot for a dollar 98 but I think the knife will give me more than I bargained for. Mine came with a black blade, which was just fine with me.

Not bad.
I threw this in with one of my last purchases and I'm really happy I did. The handles kinda cheap feeling but the blades sturdy and the build holds up. One important thing the blade might not be the same color as in the picture mine came all blacked out which I didn't mind.
Response: We apologize for this inconvenience, thank you for pointing that out. We have pulled one from stock and see that the blades are in fact black, we are updating the images to reflect this.

You wouldnt expect much for $2 but I was extremely impressed with this knife. No complaints. Easy to use and open with thumb. Sharp blade mean sawblade. And the 3 1/4 blade means its completely legal to conceal carry without a permit ( if you live in the state of Florida)

I'm very pleased with this knife my girlfriend carries this knife along with pepper spray from BudK. She takes public transportation here in Chicago women do get attacked at bus stops and on busses and trains. I like giving these knives as gifts, thanks BudK!

Get two!
I buy these two-at-a-time. Makes a great everyday carry knife and I don't worry about losing, breaking, or surrendering it to the TSA. The blade is decent. Whenever it gets dull, I go to Cabelas or Sportsmans Warehouse and run it through the belt sharpener and it's good as new.

pound for pound best value for the price
$2... eight quarters gets you a tough yet light little edc knife that will perform basic daily cutting tasks just as well as more expensive knives. I have had mine a few days and dropped it more times than I've cut with it. No loose parts or damage to plastic. not too sharp out the box but usable. the blade flips out with a quick whip of the wrist. Great utility knife. Great price!

Where's my two dollars?
I spent it on this great little knife for work. I need several different! I have a habit of pummeling schtuff at work with my knives and, This is a good knife for the two dollars. 2 months, still sharp. Seems to be ABS plastic so, it should last well beyond the cost! Mine has the black finish blade.

a good knife
This is a d**n good knife for the price. I have given many as gifts and all are pleased with overall quality and function, but I never tell them how much I paid and none ever come close to guessing how much. I use mine daily for any and all maintenance projects at work and about town. Great overall value, thanks budk and ridge runner!

Awesome Knife
I bought the black one and the silver one. I got them engraved. This is an awesome knife, very sharp... The only thing that I did not like about it was the shipping, it took 23 days to get to me regular mail. I have never had to wait for items that long through Budk. But over all I am happy with product.

Great value
This is quite a value in the world of two dollar purchases. Comfortable grip, a decent blade design and the all black model (blade and handle) has a certain eye appeal that gives this knife character. No, its not a $40 fancy brand name but you will be surprised what this humble tactical folder is capable of.

Right size, weight, grip
I have developed a feel for the knives I like to work with over the years. There is just the right size and weight for a knife to fit in my hand so I work intuitively with it, like it is an extension of my hand. The grip must be secure as well. Even the way it opens and closes with one hand makes a difference. Through the years I have formed such a feel for the knives I like, that I can usually pick up a knife, open and close it a few times, and know whether it fits the bill. This was one of those knives. Liked it immediately and after the first day, felt like I had been using it for years. If the quality holds up and blade will keep its edge this will be my knife of choice for work every day. Thanx BudK.

A+ for $2
Ok, truth be told, for $2, as long as you don't preconceive any expectations you'll be very pleased with these. For a knife collector and everyday user like me, these are like the knife version of what a disposable lighter is to a zippo, they will hold up but won't win any beauty contests and aren't going to cause tears if you lose one. It won't be your favorite knife or even close but they are the prefect giveaways, box cutter alternatives and a perfect gift for a kids first pocket knife. I give them away to my nieces and nephews who live in Montana and Texas, to my Mechanic and to friends who work with box cutters frequently and they all seem to enjoy them. I suggest buying a handful or in bulk and throwing them in BOBs, tackle box, glove box, and around the house like I do, as a just in case knife. I also suggest giving them to women in your life, as in this day and age, nobody can be too careful. I gave one to my mom and girlfriend and they both love them. Overall for $2 I can't see anyone justifiably complaining.

Can't go wrong
I figured this knife would look and feel cheap for only $2 but I was way wrong. Awesome little knife, it has a good solid feel and looks nice and opens easily. It's also surprisingly sharp. Nice knife

Hardly Functional
I thought "2 bucks, why not?" so I threw this little knife in the order real quick. While I was expecting to get what I paid for, I was expecting at the very least a functional knife. The liner lock either does not engage or engages too far and you cant shut it without loosening the blade with a hex head. Normally for 2 dollars I say go for it, but not this time.
lucaskingfisher Aug 22, 2012 (3 out of 5)
Meh
Wasn't expecting a hole lot for 4 dollars. 3 stars because the blade only locks 50% of the time. Would have given it a 4 if it locked 90% of the time, 5 if It would have been constructed as well as my Sheffield which was five dollars and around the same size. Will most likely give it to my wife for opening letters and light packaging. Budk has better knives then this for just a few more dollars.

Closeing Problem
Opens nice but the lock when pushed won't release blade, I see a few other reviews with this similar problem. Removed the side (1-hex, 2-screws) found the spot on the lock that needed filing down and fixed it, now works smoothly. Not a hard fix but I shouldn't have to. This blade came sharp out of the box.
