Product Description
This Smith & Wesson M&P BB pistol is an authentic replica of one of Smith and Wesson's newest pistol designs. It offers a 19-shot, drop-out BB magazine and a CO2 powered semiauto, double action. This infamous pistol fires .177 BBs a blazing 420 fps as fast as you can pull the trigger. Fixed front and rear sights ensure an accurate shot straight out of the box, but an integrated accessory rail means you can add a flashlight or laser sight if needed.
A great gun for developing hand eye coordination after surgery
I fired this little beauty while sitting on my back porch into the shipping box. five times I filled the mag before the CO2 went empty. At 20 feet the cluster was 1/4" and the BB were inside the box. A savings, only CO2 to buy for the present. Need 4 extra mag's, that is the times I reloaded the mag before the CO2 emptied. When I can used my real pistols hopefully I'll be back to me.

Inexpensive Fun
We are reviewing available air gun models in the marketplace for a commercial outdoor recreational purpose. The full size and relatively true to spec dimensions provide crossover training benefits for working with youth in preparation for stepping up to the actual center-fire pistol, better than a non-functioning blue gun. The hard trigger pull double action is disappointing as is the safety selector and we have noticed that when holstering the pistol into our standard Kydex holsters, the pistol goes "off safe" again another departure from the true spec of the working Full Size. The removable grip backstrap which slides to the rear to access the CO2 cartridge too easily slips out of the guide tracks and has to be reattached if the user doesn't "pinch" the grip to keep the tabs in the track. The lack of a working blowback feature is also a problem for our needs but the fiber optic sights are a good feature, and the reliability and ease of use of the spring loaded magazine is also a positive. We have yet to see a failure to feed on the first shot after re-insertion of a fresh magazine. For the cost of the unit, additional magazines are pricey, coming in at what one would expect to pay for an actual 9mm magazine. Overall it's a fun and reliable model for the money and if you own a 9 or 40 M&P you will get instant positive feedback from the familiarity of the grip when you pick it up.

Yes and No
Good price; plastic but substantial; detachable magazine loads easier than those that load into the handle. The disconcerting thing is the trigger action. The double action is a bit hard to get used to, but it's also so firm that you'll almost develop a blister if you're plinking a lot.

Not quite realistic
the only two problems I have with THIS version is 1) no blowback for added realism, and 2 you have to cock the slide each time to chamber a "round" overall though very close to the real thing.
