Product Description
Bring the ferocity of the 300 Spartan warriors into the 21st century with this historically inspired Spartan Emperor sword! This 31-1/2" sword features a 23-1/2" steel blade with an oxidized finish for an old-world look and feel. The cast metal alloy and iron fittings and accents add further authenticity to this unique design. It comes to you with a deluxe soft scabbard that can be carried on the shoulder.
I spoke with someone at BudK a while back who said they had taken this thing and smashed cinder blocks and chopped on railroad ties and it didn't come apart so they guess it's full tang. I can say it's heavy like a broad sword. I've got a Cold Steel Gladius machete (which is nice) that feels light by comparison. The scabbard is nice. It comes reasonably sharp. It's a think blade and sharpens with my ax sharpener fine. It should kill lots of zombies.

Definitely a fantastic purchase! The sword itself comes fairly sharp, with a slightly rounded tip, and is perfectly capable of doing plenty of damage. The ridge that runs down the center of the blade adds plenty of extra punch to each impact, and the blade itself has a great weight and balance to it.
The sword looks beautiful as well, and mine came with no noticeable defects on the blade. The hilt may look uncomfortable, being slightly boxy, but I assure you it feels good in the hand and is very solid construction.
The sheath that comes with the sword is nice, and the sword is slightly oiled to help it last inside the sheath. The material of the sheath is a bit cheap, but you aren't buying this sword for a nice sheath. The shoulder straps for the sword are a bit fidgety, but are easily overlooked when you have this magnificent blade in your hand.
Overall, a great purchase for its price, a beautiful sword that can dish out damage as well as look great in the hand. You won't be disappointed.

Stainless Steel ?????
A Stainless Steel blade huh? Mine rusted over after one night outside. If and only if you keep it dry it makes a good hacking sword. Sharp blade. Thick blade. Fair quality sheath. Overall a good buy, but c'mon BUDK don't tell me it's stainless when it's not.

It's stainless steel...that means it isn't meant for "dishing out damage." A real sword is made of carbon steel, tool steel, etc...not stainless steel.
