Well after about three days the sword just got here, and right off the bat it is a great sword for the price. Its sturdy and beautiful with a good weight to it, the tsuba is as detailed and good looking as in the picture while keeping a nice size, the handle has a good feel and is well wrapped, so for the price and quality you cant go wrong with buying this sword.

awesome sword needed just a little sharpening but not a problem. The balance is great about 4" away from the tsuba.<br />A little loose in the sheath. Watch out water bottles.

I got this sword last week, and I'm still drooling over it. This is an excellent piece for the price. Razor Sharp, right out of the box. Not for Children or Drunks. This blade will cut you, Long, Wide, and Deep, if you're careless. Cuts paper like a razor. I chopped up the cardboard box it came in, like it was butter. I wonder why Musashi didn't put their logo, or stamp on it? Maybe it's on the tang, but don't really want to take it apart to see. Don't waste money on the cheap junk swords out there, like I've done in the past. Spend a few extra $ and get the real McCoy. Oh, did I say this thing is sharp? Be carfull.

wow, i knew this katana would be good, but i didnt expect it to cut tatami better than my other blades. The blade is very sharp and strong, and it has a tight ito wrap. the only thing i didnt like waqs that the tsuka was a little to thick. but that isnt a big deal. 5/5

this sword is nice!!! the wire brushed hamon looks good, and the tsuba really stands out on this sword. the tuska have been wrapped tight and the bo-ha sounds loud when dry cutting the air. the sword sail thru full tatami mats with no problems.

This is a razor sharp sword, I can say that right off the bat. I have 137 blades in total and this is one of the sharpest blades I have seen and now own. The scabbard is loose enough that it will come off easily when you pull it, but tight enough that it won't fall off if you're messing with it. Excluding how beautiful the blade and engraving I would still recommend this to anyone who thinks they can handle it.

to put it simply, this sword is bada$$$$. very high quality for the price. razor sharp out of the box. beautiful design on the guard. the highlight threw me off slightly, but they Do stand out. full tang definately makes a difference. it may not be as good as the old masterpieces, with steel folded 3 point some odd million times, but it's as close as you can get without spending hundreds if not thousands (or hundreds of thousands)of dollars.

When they said razor sharp they're not joking. simply amazing. The blade came well packaged in its cotton bag with the blade heavily oiled for storage obviously. I'm keeping this short since Im about to go clean it up and put it on display.

Just arrived and I love this sword. This sword is one of the best swords for under $100 dollars. Very sharp and almost has a mirror finish blade. This is a REAL Musashi made sword.

it was a great sword for its price, nice and sharp, i love the design on the guard although the bamboo pegs in the handle are hard to get out...great sword...

This is by far one of the best deals for the price! I love this sword! I just finished some practice on a pumpkin and some plastic bottles and it was excellent. When I cleaned it, it was easy to disassemble and reassemble. Some generic gun oil and a piece of loose leaf paper is all that is needed to clean it. Again, I love this sword!

Great product for a first katana. Habaki is getting scratches from the saya. Very sharp blade.

This blade is a great blade for practice and light cutting. I had it for a week and it sheared through cardboard boxxes and easily slight through paper with little resistance. However, when used to cut through practice bamboo commonly used to practice cutting techniques it bent with one swing into a 130 degree angle and the edge became bent as well. Overall i was happy with the blade and it was easy to straighten back out, though not so much for the edge. It is an excellent display piece and is great for light cutting. It rusts very easily so keep it oiled.
