Product Description
Now you can own the sword of the most famous swordsman in Japanese history. The Musha brand was named after Miyamoto Musha who is believed to be the best swordsman of all time, winning many sword duels even at a young age. This hand-forged katana features a 1045 carbon steel blade that has been tempered to produce a real hamon line. This hamon is the transition zone from the hard to soft steel along the blade edge. The blackened steel tsuba is shaped in the world-famous Musha double-ring design and is the exact same design Miyamoto used on his own swords. Buy this sword today and we ensure you won't be disappointed!

I've had this sword for almost two years now, and I have to say I really love it. I try to be really careful with it, so I can't honestly say how rugged it is, but I do recall once denting it slightly try to cut a hardened coconut with it, but the dent came out easily with a bit of sharpening. It holds its edge nicely and hasn't rusted or otherwise corroded. The metal tip at the top of the scabbard (where the sword goes in) has come off, but I can easily glue it back when I'm not being lazy. I think the price was great, I've seen cheaper made swords for more money. So yeah, I'd say you can buy this with confidence.

This is my first Katana. When it arrived I took the oil off and noticed how sharp the edge is. The wrapping is tight and the pegs are easy to access. This sword is great for beginners and Musashi is now my favorite brand. Get this now before it sells out!

Best katana I have held in my life

What can I say? I bought this katana some days ago and got it today. Absolutely stunning! The work is amazingly done. Razor Sharp like said, beautiful hamon line, the tsuba feels great, everything is great! For 50 dollars, what else can I ask? Not the first time I buy from Musashi/Musha, but definitely not the last.

Although I have to add that I didn't like the Sageo that much. It's not that high quality, but still a good one. But, what the hell? I can't ask for a better sword. Recommended all the way.

this sword kicks ass! this is my weapon of choice! but keep in mind this sword is for fighting not training. i suggest buying a practice sword with a similar shape and weight then you will be ready to swing this baby at anything! it could even take my little cousin sitting on it! I named it Tomare' which is Japanese for "Stop" because every time you take this sword out of the saya people will "Stop" in their tracks! lol. if i could i would give it a 6 out of 5 but 5 out of 5 will have to do.

This is a great sword for the price. I am definitely not disappointed with this purchase. Couple that with the excellent service from the site and quick shipping speeds, you can't go wrong with this blade!

This was my first purchase from this website and I couldn't be happier with this sword. I've had the sword for a month now and have used it for light-to-medium cutting with good results. The cotton wrapped handle is infinitely better than nylon, and is very sturdy. The blade (out of the box) was VERY SHARP and will most certainly cut you if you run your finger along the blade, or are not careful enough while cleaning it... trust me! I also liked that there was no "blood groove" in the blade because it's better asthetically and for cutting, in my opinion. I couldn't find a comparable sword for less than $120 after two weeks of searching/comparing, so just save yourself the time and BUY THIS SWORD.

this is her grandson writing, btw. WOW this sword is amazing, it looks so much better in real life than in the pictures on that site. I love this sword, the blade is solid and firm and sharp, the fittings are firm, and i love the double ring. This sword is just plain ass amazing.

I got the sword a couple of months ago but just recently used it in test cutting single rolled beach mats. The sword cut straight and true but I did sharpen the edge first using whetstones before trying. Don't know how it would have performed out of the box but after sharpening it exceeded my expectations - definitely worth the price.

Came in last night earlier than stated, which is good. My blade was pretty dirty but it was mainly heavy globes of grease, so it was ok. The weight is fantastic and I love the over all feel of the piece. First sword in my collection and I couldn't be happier with it. Over all I believe it is a good purchase and I recommend it.

The sword is very good. It has a nice weight to it and fits tightly into the scabbard (excellent). The handle is very well made and has a nice feel to the grip. It's become one of my favorites.

Good cutter
I have to say that I had SERIOUS doubt about the sword for the price. I am proud to say I was very please once I had the sword in my hands. Good sharp edge, not razor but does the job very well. Solid handle and wrap. Would not cut anything other than bottles with it, it is a $50 sword so be realistic. All and all I am a happy customer and will probably buy a few more for back ups. Also, the blade is tempered but I would not try any bending tests on it. Thank you BUDK!!!

I got this sword for christmas, and I have to say that it is a beast, absolutely beautiful. My only issue is that it is barely sharp. Other than the lack of a sharp edge I have no issues with this beautiful blade and for the price I highly recommend

Very well done for a cheap sword. I can't exactly attest to its' cutting prowess as I have yet to try, but it looks like it could so what it was designed for with minimal effort. I'm sure it could be sharpened even further.

The blade is basically like any other $60 sword, it's just that the display aspects set it apart... and that makes it worth it for me, since the "real" version is about $800 (leather grip w/ rayskin/ tapered blade/ MUCH sharper and better quality blade, fittings, etc...).

i am over all pleased with the sword but the only problem i had is that the thumb guard is different than the one shown and i also saw that underneath the niolon wrapping there was a reptile skin-ish handle and a dragon on each side and im wondering what that about be w/e i can't really complain but i wish that the thumb guard was more like the one in the picture instead of the one i got...
