I bought the knives for my brother. He said they are the bee's knees. Also said they throw great. I will stick with Budk. I give five stars.

I bought these on a whim but I am VERY glad I did. They are heavier than I expected and predictable when you throw them. Granted they are smaller than I thought but at less than $2 a knife they are great. Perfect if you are learning how throw knives and if you have a fair amount of experience ( as I do) they will do what you want once you get the hang of them. Only down side is that they will break eventually but considering the price it is worth it. Will buy again.

I bought my set a month ago and i love them so far. They haven't broken and I've used them. Edges arent ridiculously sharp, but the tips are the thing to be wary of. One poked through its slot and sliced my thumb webbing wide open and I barely felt it until I saw the blood dripping on my table. Be careful, but an awesome buy nonetheless for the price.

I purchased these and just received them. Be careful. The blades themselves aren't ridiculously sharp, but the tip of one poked through the roll and sliced the webbing of my thumb. The tips are sharp. So be careful again, but otherwise I like them so far.

I am very impressed with these throwing knives! Been throwing them for days now at a pine backed target and none have broke or bent. Wish they came in silver though, the black is hard to find in the grass sometimes. Solved that problem by painting the handles red.

i got the knives in today and i love them they're easy to use and light weight good knives for any beginner or experienced person

If you are trying to find some extremely durable six inch throwing knives, stop looking. You aren't going to find any.six inch throwing knives are always really light and thin. these are the best one you are going to find. you have twelve of them so if you break a couple then you aren't too worried. they actually feel pretty good in your hand also. the black finish comes off but it comes off of everything that you put it on, so who cares

As always the quality of these knives for this price is outstanding. love doing business with bud-k , customer for life..

I was very pleased with this product. The blades are very easy to handle, light, sharp and accurate. I would recommend these knives to anybody.

This is my first throwing knife set and they worked great i dont know too much about throwing but they stuck thats all that matters to me if you are looking for high quality knives(not saying they're cheap) these are not the ones for you everyone has their own opinon i for one think they were great
Jan 26, 2012

These knives are pretty good. They do require practice since they are under-hand throwing knives. They are decent though for $28.

These knives are simply amazing! I got these for Christmas from my dad (this is my dad's and mine account). I love them, they stick to wood, poster board, cardboard and even punching bags. Great buy get them you will not regret it.

AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZIIIIIIIIIIIIIING KNIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These knives stick EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! The weight of the knives is great, the point is soooooooo sharp, and the blade is great!!!!!!!!!!!!! I looooove the design and the sheath! It rolls up super easy and extremely tight!! The sheath also has a handle for easy carrying! A twelve pack for only $20!!!!! I cant believe that! On a scale of one to ten, I would rate these a 100000000000000000000000000!! I wish I was the genius who invented these knives!!!! Keep up the good work, BUDK!!!!

these are great little knives. first five throws were beautiful. but are easy to put to much spin on though. the blades aren't razor sharp but the points are pretty sharp. i would strongly advise for intermediate throwers and pros. great throwers for the price. great buy.

These are decent knives for someone who is starting out. They are not expensive and you get 12 of them so don't expect to throw them at 100mph into plywood and not break a few. Especially when you don't connect or they bounce and hit the pavement. They will break! They are great for beginners learning how to get proper rotation and throwing into cardboard at a beginners speed. By the time they all break you should be ready to step up to a better set of knives. ( I throw them at cardboard boxes/pizza boxes in the grass so they hit softly and haven't broken one yet)

I bought these for a Men's Ministry activity as a test run to see how they would work. They worked out fine. For the price - the size and quantity in the package was exactly what I expected. They are a decent quality. My next purchase will be fewer (6) and larger in size (8-12) to see if that is easier to throw and get to stick.
Jan 31, 2015

They are smaller than expected and one broke in half after a few days of throwing. I would get a different set
Jan 07, 2014

i got them for Christmas they are amazing. i would have given them five stars but the sheath fell apart i a couple of days.
Dec 17, 2013

these are a load of fun, not the sharpest things i've bought from budk but definetly a good buy. these knives throw well and are very accurate.
Dec 01, 2013

These are amazing knives! Fairly durable, and each blade came sharp and ready to throw. The sheath which holds all 12 of them has a belt loop which I find kind-of pointless. Having 12 allows more throwing time! Love these knives!
Aug 05, 2013

Good knives came sharp out of the box and I started throwing right away, one's tip broke off after I threw it once but that might have been because I was throwing at a concrete wall, maybe?

Before I say anything I need to state that this is my first throwing knife set. That said, I am overall pleased with the knives. They are good to get into the groove of throwing knives. I was a bit perplexed as to how dull they came, and this proved to be a problem with getting them to stick in the target - makes sure you sharpen these puppies if you want to inflict more than a scratch on your target. They're also really easy to put too much spin on, but this can be corrected through practice. The problem of how dull these blades were came to a head when I, upon seeing several knives perfectly hit the target and bounce (and having someone with more experience encounter the same problem), I grabbed the target (I was using a cheap archery target for practice) and stabbed it with one as if I were gutting a mugger. The knife barely pierced the burlap covering and stuck maybe 1/2" into the target once it made it through - making me fully realize the severity of the issue. So, long story short, SHARPEN THESE KNIVES at the first chance you get.

I got these throwing knives awhile ago and they look great, but need more improvements. The tips of the throwers are very sharp, no question about that. However, the sides of them are very smooth..not sharp at all! The handles also have an odd feel to them, they should be increased in size or something, just feels weird. Pretty good looking knives, but really should be redesigned...and be sharp

These knives are great. I got them about a week ago and I've been throwing them at a wood board for about 30 mins a day and they still look like they are in great condition. They have kept their edge and point since I got them. Overall great knives
Jul 16, 2010

good throwers for a great price! knives are much smaller than expected and very light, tips are very sharp and will stab right thru the sheath tips can break easily but you get 12 knives! throw 6 at a concrete wall and you still have 6 sexy knives
Mar 15, 2015

The weight is nice, but I've only had them for a week and a half and 2 have already broken at the hole nearest the blade. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed. I'm not surprised, I should've known better. For what you pay, it's an alright set of toys.
Sep 25, 2014

Bit more lightweight than I was expecting. Didnt fly very well but once you figure out the knives they do okay. Good for fun no expectation throwing.
Jul 10, 2014

There Ok I wouldn't buy them. Pretty fun to throw at cardboard. If you throw them against something hard they can snap because of the random holes. Ok.
Nov 01, 2011

These were the things in my order that I was the most excited for, but when I opened them up I was not that impressed. I have had a few throwing knifes in the past and I have lost all but one of them, that's why I got these.
Aug 12, 2011

This is a great deal for these knives. They have good stick and are easy to grip. BUT it is easy to mess up a throw because of how lite they are and they are a bit to short, especially for long distances.
May 16, 2010

I considered these knives, cheap, very cheap. They were a 1/4" smaller than what had been described. When I first threw the knives, against a piece of cardboard, the third one snapped clean in half on contact. Also the sheath is bad. The blades tore a hole in it before I even got them. I suggest to go with something more expensive.
Sep 05, 2015

Not only do they spin way too much but the point is ungodly sharp (learned from a bad experience) and they are also a tad bit fragile
Sep 17, 2011

I just purchased these knives a few days ago. I knew they came in a nylon sheath and thought that even though I prefer leather it's only 19.99 I can deal with a crappy sheath. The knives are very light so it's easy to put too much force behind the throw, the sides of the blades are not sharp at all, and the handle is too small (even for my small girl hands) they do not feel comfortable in my hand. On the second day I was out trowing the knives at a wooden target that I've have been using with my other set of knives (Hibben) for a while and one of the knives snapped in half. I've had them for two days!!!! I was very disappointed that it broke so soon. Other than that the knives can be good for beginners who are afraid of sharp knives or too weak to put the power behind a heavier knife to make it stick.

I teach knife throwing to scouts and at a renaissance fair, and I was only able to use these as small dinky prizes for people who did well. No one could consistently stick these. May be good for just going through the practice motions but for actual throwing, these are definitely not the best. Would do nothing in a combat situation unless you get lucky enough to strike an artery or hit the eye.
