Schrade "OTF" pocket knives are already distinctive for their innovative "Out-the-Front" blade deployment, but this one takes "special" to a whole other level! It boasts a unique blue handle finish and an intricate patriotic blade etching that reads "These Colors Don't Run," flanked by a rippling American flag. The closest you’ll get to a switchblade without breaking the law, this limited edition first generation Schrade OTF Assisted Opening Pocket Knife fires its razor sharp 3” titanium coated 4116 stainless steel blade straight out of the handle using a trigger and spring mechanism. It’s an impressive, dramatic spectacle that gives you the quickest possible one-handed access to your blade when you need it most - self defense, cutting fishing line from an overstressed rod harness, severing parachute cord and countless other emergencies. As a precaution, the Schrade OTF includes a safety switch to prevent accidental discharge, so you can enjoy peace of mind no matter where you take it or how you carry it. The durable, slip resistant Zytel handle thwarts cutting blunders and unintentional injuries, as well. If you’re trapped in a wrecked car or burning building, use the built-in glass breaker to save yourself and others. At 4 3/5" closed, this special Schrade OTF is amply sized for day to day cutting tasks and then some, yet it fits comfortably in jeans pockets, especially via the integrated pocket clip. Best of all, using the Schrade OTF is just plain fun. Try it once, and you'll be hooked! This limited edition is also great for collections or as a gift for a veteran, active duty service member or any proud American.

I'm not sure Reviewed by on Jun 12, 2018   2 out of 5

I bought about a month ago. It opened and then closed about 2 times then it jammed in the opened position and I haven't been able to close it. I this was a first generation knife but expected it to last a little longer than that. Only thing good I can about it is that I sharp.

I ordered 1 and then 2 more when received it. Easy one handed opening. Smooth deployment and tight lock up. Perfect size for carry and not bulky. Lock is tight and quality is great. Highly recommend. ????

Loved this right out of the box Reviewed by Anthony Joseph on Mar 16, 2018   5 out of 5

This is a really good deal on a really good inexpensive, fun, lightweight, knife. I use mine everyday for something. I would recommend this knife to anyone, for the money you will be hard pressed to find a better EDC knife than this one. Sure there are better quality knives out there if you want to spend a car payment on a pocket knife. But for 15 bux plus shipping this knife ticks all the right boxes for me. Thanks Bud K.

Okay. Where is the White? Reviewed by Marion Wells on Mar 16, 2018   5 out of 5

Got the blue. Getting the red. Where is the white, to complete the set? COME ON, GUYS...get with the program!!! I am already working on the display plaque! :-)

Very nice Reviewed by Chris Schenkel on Mar 13, 2018   5 out of 5

This is a very nice pocket knife. Worked well out of the box & has a decent sharp edge. Aso stated in description, the body of the knife is zytel which is basically a high strength plastic material. This material is found on several types of handgun firearms as well, incase there are any doubts how durable the material is. I did treat the track of knife with some rem oil, now it opens even faster & harder. Very pleased with the knife & Bud K has it at a great price.

It's a ok Knife Reviewed by Min Lou on Mar 08, 2018   3 out of 5

I was looking for a inexpensive OTF for edc, this kind of fill that . First off, its razar sharp otb. It lose 1/2 star because the feel very plasticly and cheap . The paint on "these colors don't run" is ok. Its not double action, so comming out is assisted and lightning fast, but to retract have to slide it all the way back, another 1/2 star loss. You have to get it to go back till atleast 90% or it slide back out which is about 75% of the blade. It also does not open all the way about 1 out of 5 times so you have to push it ttill it click to lock it in the out position. That lost 1 star. I got it at $15 but i value it at around $10. so another 1/2 star lost. All in all its about 2 1/2 stars.

OK Reviewed by jeremy freeman on Mar 06, 2018   3 out of 5

This knife is ok for the price. First off it’s very cool looking, it has a very patriotic appeal to it. Blade was shaving sharp out of the box. Knife deploys very fast. Now the bad, secondary lock does not work on the one I received, and primary lock still allows the blade to slip allowing about 1/4 of the blade to pertrude past the case. Knife overall has a very cheap toy like feel. For light duty task and a cool looking knife for displaying it will do.

My new edc Reviewed by Michael Ledet on Dec 05, 2017   5 out of 5

I picked this up on one the $10 Tuesdays. Worth every penny. It's sharp and easy to use after a few minutes of handling. People get a kick out off the speed of it. Hey for ten or even twenty bucks it'll be there when you need it and is a quality piece. Glad I finally got one. Thanks BudK.

Excellent quality/Cool action Reviewed by Chris Monell on Nov 19, 2017   5 out of 5

I've had the black one as my EDC for about two years and it's never failed me. I just liked the flag etching and had to have it. Well worth the price. You just have to remember to put a drop of oil on each side of the slide rail if it slows down a little and blow the lint out of it. It comes as expected from Schrade, sharp, high quality and Perfect edge right out of the box.
