The Gateway Karambit Reviewed by Joe Van Poppel on Dec 31, 2016   5 out of 5

Alright, I have a confession to make, I wasn't into the karambits when I first looked at them. But let me tell you, after getting this one, I have a new found love for these kind of knives. They are fun to whip around. Not to mention they are very lightweight and pretty easy to carry around. Everyone is complaining about the harness, and unfortunately, I have to as well. The sheath in itself is not bad, but the harness is pretty uncomfortable to wear, although it does keep the knife snug. I plan on modifying the harness to where it goes over both shoulders like suspenders, which would probably be a lot more comfortable. In any case, the knife, is awesome and now I'm hooked on karambit style blades. I kind of want to get a couple more of these since they are great quality and relatively inexpensive, but I kind of want to explore the other colors. That purple one for example... Anyway, thanks Bud K, always a pleasure.

Thank you BudK! Wasn't that carried away with shoulder attachment. However, I removed it and the way the sheath is made, there are many other possibilities. Good purchase.

Best karambit Reviewed by shaun bersch on Jun 19, 2016   5 out of 5

Bigger most of the other karambits on the market. The grip is awesome and feels good in my hand. Blade could have been sharper but not a deal breaker. I was able to sharpen mine and now it's perfect. The only problem was the cheaply made harness which broke the second time I used it. But the knife is still awesome so I am giving it five stars. The harness seems stupid overall because this knife is too large in my state to conceal legally. A belt clip would have been better I think.

Everything as advertised. Very sharp, bright green, and shoulder sheath not bad quality but I didn't plan to wear it that way.

This is an average made knife, The blade is thin steel and it was very dull out of the box.The shoulder sheath is not very practicle and does not lay flat on your shoulders and does not secure the knife well. I do like the knife but remember when ordering you get what you pay for.

Scary knife! Reviewed by Michael on Aug 07, 2013   5 out of 5

Great looking knife, but made for a large hand. I'm a guitar player with long fingers but my hands are too small to comfortably grasp this knife. It is super sharp and very well made though. My friend is 6' 7" tall and it fits perfect in his hand. Shoulder harness sheath is a bit cheesy. It needs a better way to secure the knife to the sheeth too. I'm keeping this as a display piece only.

knife was dull out of the box. but the point was very sharp. the sheath isn't the best i wish it came with a hip sheath. the sraps on it rub on you're neck and it hurts after a while. overall the kinfe is good. i recommend this to anyone that wants a good self defence knife.
